It may be that time for you. It finally came for us and now I am finding myself barreling down another rabbit hole: trying to find Made In USA baby clothes, cribs, and other supplies. Maybe if I do the work, you won't have to work as hard. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. I will be adding some of these companies to my Children's section - please explore that as well. This is just meant to be a guide, a step in the right direction. By no means is this a one stop shop in terms of preparing for everything you may need for a newborn. Let's begin!

Colorful Bunch - 100% Organic Cotton Baby Clothing

Everything they do is legit in my book - 100% Organic Cotton with a 100% U.S. supply chain. These caring parents took matters in their own hands to supply other parents with quality clothing for their kiddos.

Wildhaven Wools - 100% Organic Merino Kids Clothes

Again, parents who seemingly thought of it all: 100% organic, superfine ("no-itch) merino wool, sewn in the U.S., that grows with your kids. "Designed to grow with your child and fit for 2-3 years, rather than a single season". Which I think is pretty darn cool.

Baby Wander Wool Overalls - $125

These overalls would be a solid choice for any cooler climates and for those looking for natural fibers. This is a product that sells out fast so it may not be in stock always. This is a rad company that will obviously be on the Children's section for good reasons. That being said, there maybe isn't too many "baby" clothes, more toddlers and children.

Sweet Cream - Organic Cotton Baby Clothes

Perfect, simple cotton clothing for the kiddos. "No harsh chemicals, no overdone styles. Just safe, dependable pieces that matched the meaningful moments that we loved and bonded over the most. This is a company I would choose some basics (shorts, sweatshirts) for the registry with a focus of 6 months and after.

City Threads - Organic Cotton Baby Clothes

City Threads offers a nice collection of organic cotton baby clothing, among a wide offering of children's clothing including pajamas, thermals, swimwear and more.

100% organic cotton, nickel free snaps. "This locally knit and dyed organic cotton baby rib allows for airflow to the body, has a nice weight, a soft feel, and a good amount of stretch. Great for those with sensitivities and allergies."

Very unique and playful artwork, organic cotton. I like the artist/owner's ability (and willingness) to create a universe around clothing.

Tenth and Pine - Signature Collection Only - $32

Very cute, GOTS organic cotton onesies. These are the move for fun gift ideas, easy holiday presents, etc. I am talking to you aunts, uncles, grandparents and all the friends who don't know what to get for someone while trying to keep it conscious.

American Blossom - Baby Bundle $204

You may recognize American Blossom from the Bed & Bath section. They offer many great things and this 100% cotton baby bundle wraps up their baby offerings all into one discounted package.

Cabooties - Handcrafted, Washable Baby Shoes

For $35 these little things have flexible rubber soles (which are "Healthier for littles") and help develop feet flex and grip the ground. They're easier for parents with no right or left shoe + Canvas Cabooties are made with 45% post-consumer content, and ship in recycled, reusable mailers.

Gray Fox - Fuzzy Shearling Loafers $55

Hand made in Maine. Shearling uppers and vegetable tanned leather soles that are lined with merino wool. Get out of town.. that is too cool. I really respect this little company for what they do.

Loafers - $47

Trendy Baby Mocc Shop - $28

Okay, so after browsing this catalog - I have hope. I may have developed a shoe addiction for my unborn child but... I have hope. Trendy Baby Mocc Shop leaves nothing to the imagination with the name. Truly awesome little Moccs for your tots.

Zkano - Baby Socks $9

Extremely respectable natural bedding. They even offer 100% wool mattresses. That is as natural as it gets. They have puddle pads, mattress protectors, and a wonderful little crib sized toddler mattress topper that is 100% wool.

Avocado Green - Crib Mattress $499

The gold standard, imo, for bedding. While I do not have one of Avocado Greens mattresses myself, I will be happy for the kiddo to have a thoughtfully made and organic mattress. Green Cradle - Solid Wood Cribs Made in USA

From the looks of it, solid wood furniture for babies is hard to come by. The Gratitude Slat Crib Is a Classic Simple Modern Design, Handcrafted Of All Solid Wood and Is Made In USA. 4-In-1 Crib Converts From Baby Crib To Toddler Bed To Daybed and To Full Bed. Purchase The Crib Conversions When Buying The Crib Or Buy Them Over Time.

100% Solid Wood Construction Made From Local Sustainably Grown Trees. I have heard stories of these convertibles lasting 10+ years with their kids. Admittedly, I still have a full size bed for me and my partner (we're in our 30's). I envision my son moving out and this becoming a guest bed frame 20 years down the line. I see this as a true investment. Total additional attachments cost come to $1400.

Pennsylvania Woodworks - Clothes Drying Rack $115

This is one for the household but a worthy candidate none the less. Premium maple hardwood. Stands 45" tall (expanded) & stays upright without tipping over. Has rugged 3/4-inch dowels for added strength & stability. Collapses to 8" x 30" x 19" for compact storage anywhere. We hang/air dry 99% of our garments in this household. It's a policy that has prolonged many out our beloved clothes, in my opinion. With living clean and simple more popular than ever - this is a great tool for any home.

My Little Songbird - Play Gyms

Made in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, these play gyms are made from locally sourced maple wood and sealed with organic coconut oil. This company is has a lovely offering of wooden toys, balance beams, climbing gyms, & other really thoughtful and fun designs for the kiddo. Their Arch Activity Gym works as a side table, desk, chair, rocker, and play fort; its uses are endless!

Another trustworthy company started by parents who work with local manufacturers to ensure safe 100% silicone products are sourced right here in the USA. They've got simple products from teethers, cups, utensils, car seat accessories and baby care.

Mystic Roots Creations - Organic Skin Care

An organic, soothing and healing butter used for diaper rash and irritating skin conditions. They've got a Mama Butter and Nipple Butter for mom's too! We admittedly use a lot of products from Mystic Roots for the super clean ingredients. It really excites me to have options for skin products that work for our household and are super clean. For obvious reasons, not all the ingredients are found state side so I would assume most are imported - but all the products themselves are made here with love.

Primo Baby - Euro Bath

An anatomically safe bathtub that keeps your baby upright during bath time. Two different positions have been designed and can be used from 0-24+ months. BPA, phalate and lead-free.

Ninni Pacifier (Pacifier ONLY)

Designed with 100% medical-grade silicone. BPA Free. The reviews are sprinkled with some negative comments. I guess we will find out how our baby responds. This is made domestically and from trusted materials. I am not sure if it is a deal breaker if the rest of Ninni's products are not made domestic. I think any ol' pacifier clip/holder should adapt to this. I will report back if I have any issues.

Green Toys (some imported - search USA)

I have a big grin every time I search through this catalog. It makes me happy to know there are still normal options for kids to have that I can feel good about supporting. Bittersweet because they did partner with an overseas manufacturer and only 1 of 3 pages (from this search/link) show in stock at the time of writing this article.

Also, this Reddit post shows a correspondence with a rep from the company and it confirms Green Toys is offshoring a portion of their manufacturing.

Bannor Toys - Wooden Toys

A respectable company who has been making wooden toys since 2011. I like the educational tiles they have and the fact that it's natural. Please note the silicone products use silicone that is imported.

Aircare - Humidifiers

Aircare seems to have decent reviews in terms of being quiet and effective. It's nice to see that they range from basic to advanced humidifiers and look to be one of the largest manufacturers in the US based in Little Rock, Arkansas for over 85 years. This particular one has a color changing nightlight and the option to be an essential oil diffuser at the same time while including a demineralization cartridge to keep water clean.
